BAMS Performing Arts Department
The Performing Arts Department at BAMS offers performance opportunities in Band, Chorus and Orchestra for each grade level. Students are exposed to a variety of genres and learn through performing music. Each group participates in concerts throughout the year to showcase their talents.
In addition to performance groups, our department also includes General Music and Drama as an opportunity in the quarter-long Unified Arts rotation. Information on those classes can be found by visiting those pages.
Spring Concert Information

Jazz Band - Friday, May 16th
Band - Tuesday, May 20th
Orchestra - Wednesday, May 21st
Chorus - Thursday, May 22nd
Jazz Band - Friday, May 16th @ Bel Air Middle School (front gym)
- Students warm up at 6:30 p.m., concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 20th - Band Night @ Bel Air High School
- 6:00- 6th grade warm up
- 6:20- 6th grade performance
- 6:45- 7th grade warm up
- 7:05- 7th grade performance
- 7:30- 8th grade warm up
- 7:50- 8th grade performance
Wednesday, May 21st - Orchestra Night @ Bel Air High School
- 6:00- 6th grade warm up
- 6:20- 6th grade performance
- 6:45- 7th grade warm up
- 7:05- 7th grade performance
- 7:30- 8th grade warm up
- 7:50- 8th grade performance
Thursday, May 22nd - Chorus Night @ Bel Air High School
- Students arrive at 6:15 p.m. for warm up, concert begins at 7:00 p.m.
All Concerts will be held in the auditorium at Bel Air High School
(except Jazz Band - help at Bel Air Middle School - front gym).
***All performing students are to wear their BLUE BAMS Music polo shirt along with black dress pants and black shoes.***
