Welcome to STARS!

Our club supports a drug-free school and lifestyle.

STARS (Students Taking a Responsible Stand) is an organization that tackles issues facing middle school students such as drugs, alcohol, tobacco use, bullying, eating disorders, and mental health awareness. Our mission is to encourage peers to make responsible choices by providing education and support for issues that include drug/alcohol/tobacco use, mental health awareness, etc. and to encourage a positive and healthy climate at Bel Air Middle School.  We sponsor or co-sponsor awareness events/health enhancing activities throughout the year including Red Ribbon Week, BAMS Grams, Mental Health Awareness Month, and other student-driven initiatives. Students who are eager to positively impact their school community should consider becoming a member of STARS!

Open to all students in all grade levels.
